We invite you on a journey of exploration through a mini-lecture, group talk and a creative workshop. Vicky De Visser will discuss the liminal state, seen as the transformative experience, in sacred rituals. Which specific qualities of a ritual cause participants to experience transcendence? How does our body and mind react when in a transcendental state? How does this transcendental state still manifests itself in current modern life while amongst a serious decline of sacred rituals for religious purposes? Vicky is an art historian and audiovisual performer.
